It is a simple but dramatic photo of a Poppy one of several species that grow wild in California (genus eschscholzia). making it a perfect souvenir of a visit to California, the Golden State. The state flower is the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica). We live in an area of California where these poppies grow wild. Every spring our front yard is filled with a riot of poppies. We just pull the weeds and to give the flowers room to grow. This is a photocopy of a one from our yard. Feel free to personalize it!
