Description
Persian Rug A-Line Dress – Design features a red antique Persian woven in Mashhad, and signed by master weaver Sabre. The medallion carpet is a familiar and popular type. Rugs from Mashhad are usually symmetrical and sometimes feature (as does this one) a scalloped or starburst medallion in the center. This rug was in storage for many years. While in storage, it developed mold stains along the folds. So I have done some digital restoration to minimize the appearance of staining and restored color that had faded through the years.
